BZ-U wire is a wire specially developed for automatic connection. Because BZ-U has considerable stiffness, it shows extreme straightness. Therefore, the automatic connection rate can be raised no matter whether the processing machine with an automatic connection device is of pipe type, jet cutting-type, or anneal-cutting type. As Pb(lead) and other impurities degrade the performance of electrode wires, we held them at the lowest level. we used closely examined materials and improved electric discharge properties. Because we use a diamond dice of precisely controlled hole diameter, wire diameter tolerance and roundness tolerance are limited to 1µm and 1µm respectively. As we manage, hardened material (H) with utmost care, their tensile strength shows stable value with little deviation. BZ features smooth surface free from flaws and irregularities. In addition, it has been subjected to special surface treatment that is unique to Hitachi, so that no brass powder (chips) will be generated. Based on an arrangement to optimize the percentage of Zn (zinc), which improves discharging characteristics, cutting speed can be raised even under the same processing conditions. |
